"To advance schools all around the nation I think that we should put more money into public schools so that they can afford internet access. But, they should also be able to block inappropriate sites so that a child might not accidentally stumble upon a "mature" website. Also, school lunches should provide healthy foods, such as salad, balance out the unhealthy food portions, and provide healthy entrees. Those are just a few things that I believe will improve education. "

"If I were the President of the United States, one thing I would change is that we would have more technology at our schools. Technology is very important because many jobs now involve technology so when we get out they will be prepared."

"One thing I would do to improve schools is have laptops available for student check out, for the students who don't have computers at home."
-- 8th Grade Girl, HAVELOCK MIDDLE, NC
"I would make sure that the schools have up to date technology so in the future they would know how to use technology."
-- 10th Grade Boy, DIGITAL HARBOR HIGH SCHOOL, MD
"I would make sure that most schools had a computer lab or that all classes were filled with computers with working internet service."
